Riverbend Retreat is truly an extended family adventure, shaped by the creativity, craftsmanship, and artistic talents of many family members along the way. From handcrafted details and original artwork to custom furnishings and thoughtful spaces designed for gathering, this property reflects generations of creativity, hospitality, and love for the outdoors. As a Kansas native, real estate professional, investor, and renovation enthusiast, Angela and her husband Don have spent years restoring homes, designing spaces, and creating unique properties throughout northeast Kansas. Together, they founded Z Homes — combining Angela’s passion for hospitality and design with Don’s craftsmanship as a general contractor. Their shared love for nature, architecture, hosting, and meaningful gathering spaces inspired the vision behind Riverbend Lookout.
